A space for relaxation after hectic days of operating mobile health clinics, constructing clean water systems, and organizing community banks, El Retiro offers volunteers of the international development organization Global Brigades the opportunity to socialize, have a beer, play games, and enjoy a bonfire, all while overlooking the sugarcane fields surrounding the Posada Azul compound.
